At the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards (hereinafter referred to as MTV VMA)' held at UBS Arena in New York on the 8th, Rosé won the grand prize for her collaboration song 'Song of the Year' with Bruno Mars 'Apartment'.
Rosé is the first K-pop singer to win a major award at the ceremony.
Rosé was nominated for seven categories, including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effect for 'Apartment'.
