Second Mediation Between NewJeans and ADOR Ends Without Agreement

The second adjustment between the group Newzins and the agency Adore also broke down.

At 1:30 p.m. on the 11th, the second mediation date for the exclusive contract validity lawsuit filed by Adore against five Newzins members was held at the 41st Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge's Assembly date).

The adjustment was also held behind closed doors, but the members did not attend and it ended in less than 20 minutes with 'Adjustment Disappearance'.

Newzins declared its independent activities last year, declaring that its exclusive contract with Adore had been terminated. However, the court ruled in favor of him in his request for an injunction against the members, including preservation of agency status and advertising contracts. The members filed an objection, but the court rejected it twice, and ordered Newzins to pay a penalty of 1 billion won per case if it conducts independent activities without consultation with Adore.

In response, Newzins announced that they would suspend their activities and wear their legitimacy in a lawsuit to confirm the validity of an exclusive contract. The court proposed mediation instead of litigation, and required members to attend in the first mediation. As a result, Minji and Daniel attended the first mediation date as representatives of the members, but the mediation was not established.
