Cho Jung-seok handed over to director Yeon Sang-ho of 'Train to Busan' for 11 billion won in the Daechi-dong building

Actor Cho Jung-seok reportedly made a market profit of more than 7 billion won by selling the Daechi-dong building. The new owner is known to be Yeon Sang-ho, the director of the movie 「Train to Busan」.

According to the Supreme Court's registry office on the 9th, director Yeon Sang-ho purchased a building in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in June for 11 billion won under the name of the corporation he represents and completed the transfer of ownership in August.

This building is located near Daechi-dong Hakwon Street and behind Eunma Apartment Intersection and has a 'double station area' where you can use both Daechi Station on Subway Line 3 and Hanti Station on Shinbundang Line on foot. Currently, English academies are leased and used from the 1st basement floor to the 6th floor above the ground.

Cho purchased the site in 2018 under the name of the corporation for 3.9 billion won and built a new building in 2020 after receiving permission to complete it. Since then, it has sold it to manager Yeon Sang-ho for 11 billion won, earning 7.1 billion won in market profit for the first time in seven years. Excluding construction costs, it is estimated that net profit of 5 billion won to 6 billion won was generated.

Cho Jung-seok recently met the audience with the movie 'Zombie Daughter', and director Yeon Sang-ho is scheduled to release the movie 'Face' on the 11th.
