It's been 16 years since the late actor Jang Jin-young left us.
In September 2008, the late Jang Jin-young was diagnosed with gastric cancer by a hospital and passed away on September 1, 2009 after a year of fighting the disease. The deceased was 37 years old.
The deceased's disease is known to have already passed stage three when the cancer was discovered in 2008.

Jang Jin-young married her husband Kim Young-kyun in July 2009 while recuperating in Las Vegas, USA, and registered her marriage on August 29 of the same year, but finally separated from her husband three days later.

The deceased, who also played on screen with the 1999 film 'Gwimmo', won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Actress in 2001 'Goosebumps' and 2003 'Single's'.
Jang Jin-young, who was recognized for her acting skills in the 2003 film 『Scent of Chrysanthemum Flowers』 and 『Singles"Cheongyeon" won the honor of winning the Best Actress Award at the 2006 Korean Film Awards for 『Love, That Unbearable Lightness』. The 2007 drama `Lobbyist' remained a posthumous work of the deceased.
