Actor Lee Chae-min (25) changed his life to Chef of Tyrants.

On the morning of the 30th, Lee Chae-min met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and had an interview with the end of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 『The Tyrant's Chef" (directed by Jang Tae-yu). Lee Chae-min "I still can't believe it's over. I'm always sad and sad when the work is over, but this time, the work is doing well and receiving a lot of love, so I'm very proud and grateful. Overall, I am very happy at this moment. And I think I left a lot of work to me, and I think everyone who worked with me was remembered as a precious person, so I think I left a lot of things behind."

In particular, Lee Chae-min is a case of dramatically joining "The Tyrant's Chef". Park Sung-hoon, who had previously been nominated for casting, quickly joined the group when he left the company. Lee Chae-min said, `Whatever work I'm cast in, I'm happy, but this work was a huge work for me, and it seems like a lie to say that I don't feel pressured. I tried to do my best in that short period of time. Many people seem to have recognized such efforts and feelings, so thankfully, those parts are precious.

Lee Chae-min, who joined at the urgent time of a month before filming, said "Suddenly, I was offered a meeting and met the director, and I was actually a fan of director Jang Tae-yu." So I told him at the meeting as well, and he said, `I'm a really big fan of director Jang Tae-gyu and I'm happy just with the meeting.' And because I was a fan of director Jang Tae-yu, there was no reason not to do this work, and the script was so fun and suited my taste. So while reading it, I thought it was so fun and I should work hard. I entered the work with such a feeling of helplessness and excitement."

Lee Chae-min then gave me a month to try to do my best within that time. I tried to learn as many things as possible in a short time while going to horseback riding and calligraphy academy several times a week, and I laid the foundation and went to the set, and I practiced repeatedly on the spot before shooting. In fact, I couldn't ride a horse that well and run, but at the end of the shoot, I ran well and felt regret, saying, `Why are you riding well at the end?'

Lee Chae-min has appeared in various dramas, but this is the first time she has received favorable reviews for her acting skills. He "I worked hard on every piece, but I had a strong compulsion to do it within this work because I had a short time, and I had a responsibility to reduce my sleep, so I read the script a lot, and tried various ways of speaking when there was a video to study and refer to." Also, the director called me in person, so I did a lot of group reading, and when I caught the character in the beginning, the director, (Im) Yoon-ah, and colleagues helped me a lot. That's why I think I caught a character who can shoot in a short period of time."

Lee Chae-min also said, `Since we are a profession that pulls off characters, I feel proud and happy when I hear the words 'It's really Lee Heon himself' and 'It's like Lee Heon' and it's amazing that there are people who recognize me on the street, and people around me jokingly call me 'Yeonhee-gun', but I think I should work harder because I haven't lost my name yet.'

In addition, due to the success of the `Chef of the Tyrant,' he was offered various movies and dramas and changed his life. Currently, it overtook Byun Woo-seok to become the No. 1 rising star brand reputation. Recently, there have been predictions that Lee Chae-min will become a rising star after Byun Woo-seok and Choo Young-woo. Lee Chae-min said "It's an honor and a lot of pressure. I also feel a responsibility to show better performances in the next work. I'm grateful and honored just to be able to be mentioned together."

Lee Chae-min "I also think that 'life has changed' because many people contacted me and paid attention to me that they enjoyed my life. My parents enjoyed watching it, and I think they enjoyed it even more this time. My relatives are also asking me to sign autographs."

"The Tyrant's Chef" is a fantasy survival romance of more than 500 years as a time-slip French chef meets the king, the worst tyrant and best gourmet. Lee Chae-min worked with Lim Yoon-ah, who played Yeon Ji-young while playing Yeon Hee-gun Lee Heon in the play. In particular, Lee Chae-min received favorable reviews from viewers even though Park Sung-hoon, who had previously been nominated for a casting, suddenly stepped down and quickly joined and led the play.

"The Tyrant's Chef" recorded 17.1% of viewers in the final episode and broke the highest ratings among all channel miniseries aired this year, as well as topping TV-OTT overall performers for five consecutive weeks (based on Good Data Corporation Fundex) and topping Netflix's global TOP10 TV (based on Netflix's official ranking aggregation site Tudum) for two consecutive weeks, captivating viewers around the world.
