Actor Lee Chae-min (25) mentioned the ending of the `Chef of a Tyrant' nicknamed the 'Avoid Ending'.

On the morning of the 30th, Lee Chae-min met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and had an interview with the end of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 『The Tyrant's Chef" (directed by Jang Tae-yu). "The Tyrant's Chef" depicts Yeon Ji-young and Lee Heon reuniting after returning to modernity in the final episode, but it was also controversial due to the narration of "It's not important" without explaining how they came to modernity. In particular, I even heard the story of 'Avoid Ending' not 'Happy Ending'.

In response, Lee Chae-min "In fact, I felt that there were various views of the viewers. I'm a person who thought it was beautiful even when I saw it. Since I came to Hyundai and met Ji-young. I only thought it was beautiful because I was reunited, but I thought 'I can see it like this' We simply thought it was beautiful, but it seems that various eyes have opened up."

When asked if the narration was the part that was shown as a line, Lee Chae-min then responded "There were several versions. I got all the fushies, but I think he used them."

Lee Chae-min said "It wasn't obvious, but there was also a question of how he came back to the present. There was a paper falling out and some fade out looking at it, and there was also a fade out of how he took on this modern outfit, saying, `I fell into the modern era, but there was a benefactor.' Of course, it didn't give a hoot. There were several versions, but I think the director wrote the ending."

Lee Chae-min also said "Isn't he doing season 2?" I think he enjoyed watching it, and I wonder what it would be like if he did season 2. We also talked about how it would be to do 'Lee Heon's modern adaptation period', but Lee Heon said, `I think it would be right to end in a historical drama.'

"The Tyrant's Chef" is a fantasy survival romance of more than 500 years as a time-slip French chef meets the king, the worst tyrant and best gourmet. Lee Chae-min worked with Lim Yoon-ah, who played Yeon Ji-young while playing Yeon Hee-gun Lee Heon in the play. In particular, Lee Chae-min received favorable reviews from viewers even though Park Sung-hoon, who had previously been nominated for a casting, suddenly stepped down and quickly joined and led the play.

"The Tyrant's Chef" recorded 17.1% of viewers in the final episode and broke the highest ratings among all channel miniseries aired this year, as well as topping TV-OTT overall performers for five consecutive weeks (based on Good Data Corporation Fundex) and topping Netflix's global TOP10 TV (based on Netflix's official ranking aggregation site Tudum) for two consecutive weeks, captivating viewers around the world.
