KBS 1TV's new daily drama 「Marie and the Stellar Dads" (directed by Seo Yong-soo / scripted by Kim Hong-joo / produced by LI Entertainment, Monster Union), which is scheduled to premiere in October, will find Marie's clumsy dad! It is a drama about the birth of an eccentric family that is thicker than blood and more persistent than sperm.
Today(4th) 'Marie and the Bizarre Dads' unveiled a strong supporting cast of young actors from acting veterans such as Jeong Ae-ri, Geum Bo-ra, Kang Shin-il, Park Hyun-jung, Bo-ki, Yoon Mi-hyang, Kim Young-jae, and Lee Ji-yeon, following the news of the appearance of actors Ha Seung-ri, Hyun-woo, Park Eun-hye, Hwang Dong-ju, and Gong Jeong-hwan.
First, Jung Ae-ri stars as Um Gi-gi, who knows the secret about the birth of Kang Marie (Ha Seung-ri). She is the director of Eom Hospital, a leading general hospital, and has ambitions to establish a pavilion center. I think the book was caught by Marine because of past mistakes, but I'm very worried when the mistake is on the verge of being revealed.
Geum Bo-ra plays Marie's cute grandmother Yoon Soon-ae. Sun-ae's sharp words are no one can beat, but behind the sniping tone is her love for granddaughter Marie and daughter Shira (Park Eun-hye). He is involved with a rented man in the back room that he urgently put out because he needs urgent power, forming a romance in his old age.
Kang Shin-il plays Lee Ok-soon, father of Kang Se-gang (Hyun-woo) and Poong-ju (Ryu Jin). Ok-soon is our typical father who wants the happiness of his family. If it's a little unusual, he wants his eldest son, Pungju, to marry him a little more than others. Deciding to run away from home because of his son who has no intention of marriage, he becomes entangled with Marine by chance.
Next, Park Hyun-jung appears as Moon Sook-hee, who is Shira's friend and has a crush on Poongju. She, who works as a financial director at Um Hospital, goes straight dreaming of love once again when Pungju returns to Korea for the first time in 15 years. However, even Jukmagou city, the friends begin to crack for Poongju.
The steerer stars as Yoon Eon-kyung, the daughter of Um Gi-gi. Eunkyeong is the only daughter in her mood, and although she is middle-aged, she is immature and jealous. But love for one's family is always sincere. While her husband, who is gradually changing, is crooked by the cheeky cousin of King Gojong, something that will shake her life occurs.
Kim Mi-kyung, Um's loyal secretary, is played by Yoon Mi-hyang. As she has been in harmony with her mood for a long time, she handles things in a calm manner.
Kim Young-jae will play the role of a third-year ticket do-gi of his major working at Um Hospital. Like a rough-looking, fast-paced iron scrubber, he is notorious as a hospital adviser. However, he has an undaunted counterattack and changes in his daily life.
Lee Ji-yeon appears as Marie's best friend, An Su-su. As a self-proclaimed guardian angel and self-proclaimed nurse, she also runs a YouTube channel and lives her newborn life, and she feels new emotions when she meets Dogi, a man who tackles at all times.
With the addition of Jeong Ae-ri, Geum Bo-ra, Kang Shin-il, Park Hyun-jung, perfumer, Yoon Mi-hyang, and Kim Young-jae and Lee Ji-yeon, who will bring the weight of the play, interest in 「Marie and the eccentric dads" is further amplified. As many characters appear, the story of supporting actors who will make the play richer is also expected to be a point to watch.
"Marie and the Stunning Dads" is a collaboration of Seo Yong-soo, who was recognized for his delicate directing skills in the drama special 2023'Do-hyun's Confession' and 'Overlap Knife, Knife', the weekend drama 'The Iron Family', and the epic drama 'Goryeoran War', and Kim Hong-joo, who showed off his fine writing skills in the human drama genre such as 'I love you too' and 'Girls' alumni'.
Meanwhile 'Marie and the eccentric Dads' will premiere in October following 'Catch the Great Luck'.
