Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chae-cheong) announced on the 8th that drama writer Kim Eun-sook and representative of Hwadam Ent. Yoon Ha-rim each donated bottled water worth 20 million won to Gangneung City, which is suffering from severe drought.

The donation will be used to overcome the drought in Gangneung, which has difficulty securing water for living due to prolonged drought.

The two are members of the Hope Bridge Big Donors Association 'Hope Bridge Honors Club', and have practiced sharing whenever national disasters such as floods, wildfires, and earthquakes occur, starting with the donation of the Ferry Sewol disaster in 2014.

In addition, gifts are delivered to child care facilities in disaster-affected areas on special days such as children's day and Christmas, as well as birthdays and anniversaries, and regular care has been continued.

Kim Hee-yoon, head of the fundraising project team at the Korea Disaster Relief Association, said "Thank you to the two people for practicing meaningful sharing in a severe drought situation."The association will actively use this donation to support emergency water supply for neighbors suffering from water supply."
