Taiwan's local media, including ET Today, reported on the 16th (local time) that Seo Hee-je, Koo Joon-yeop's sister-in-law and the younger brother of the late Seo Hee-won, will attend the 60th Geumjong Awards.

Seo Hee-je was nominated for the award-winning variety program host for the entertainment program 'Miss Not City' co-hosted by Patrick. Seo Hee-won broke up while dating Koo Jun-yeop in 1998, married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi and had one son and one daughter. Seo Hee-won and Wang So-bi divorced in 2021. Upon hearing the news, Koo Joon-yeop contacted Seo Hee-won's old number, and Koo and Seo Hee-won succeeded in a dramatic reunion. However, Seo Hee-won died of acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan in February. With this shock, Koo Jun-yeop lost more than 10 kilograms of weight, causing regret.
