A man in his 30s who appeared on SBS Plus and ENA Love Reality Program I'm Solo' was handed over to trial on charges of sexual assault and was sentenced to probation of imprisonment.

The Seoul Western District Court's Criminal Agreement Department 11 (Chief Judge Kim Woo-hyun) sentenced Park (35) to one and a half years in prison and three years of probation on charges of quasi-rape on the 19th. In addition, along with taking 40 hours of lectures on sexual violence treatment, he also ordered a five-year employment restriction for institutions related to children, adolescents, and the disabled.

Park was accused of sexually assaulting a drunk woman in her 20s at a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul at 3:30 a.m. on June 21.

The court ruled that `Park seems to have committed adultery even though the drunk victim showed an intention to refuse, such as pushing himself.' `The victim appears to have suffered considerable mental trauma and was also hurt in the course of resistance.'

However, considering the fact that the defendant admitted to the crime and showed remorse, the victim did not want to be punished by agreement, and that he had a three-month period of self-reflection while in custody", he explained the reason for the sentencing.

Park appeared in the previous SBS Plus and ENA episodes of 'I'm Solo' and 'I'm Solo, then Love Continues'.
