On the 17th, the KGMA Organizing Committee officially announced the appearance of Park Seo-jin, Lee Chan-won, Jang Min-ho and the band Lucy, and X-Dinnery Heroes (hereinafter in alphabetical order) with the lineup of the '2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iMBank' (2025 KGMA) to be held at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon on November 14 and 15.
Park Seo-jin is a trot singer who has drawn attention for his unique performance that combines janggu and trot, and won the final victory last year's 'Acting Singer 2' and has firmly established himself as a 'trot prince' beyond 'God of Janggu'. He is currently active in the 'King of the Hanil family', and is scheduled to release a new song 'Your Story' by composer Yoon Myung-sun in early October.
Lee Chan-won confirmed his appearance for the second consecutive year following 2024 KGMA. Last year, it won a total of five awards, including Best Adult Contemporary, Trend of the Year Trot Star, Diggers Digging Artist, Lulua X Fancast's Best Popularity Award, and Best Song 10. He is active in various fields, including entertainment as well as singing, and will make a comeback with his second full-length album in October.
After overcoming a long unknown life, Jang Min-ho boasts a variety of musicality that transcends Korean traditional music, ballads, and dance with 'Trot Gentleman', which reached its heyday 24 years after its debut by ranking sixth in the final of 'Mr. Trot 1'Trot 1' in 2020. With its stable hosting skills, it is expanding its activities by being considered the number one host of trot entertainment and audition programs.
Lucy (Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, Jo Won-sang, Shin Kwang-il) is leading the band scene revival with the epitome of the band's `Youth Band' after it was first formed on the band's audition program 'Super Band'. Those who have captivated listeners with original sounds and freewheeling charms, including violins, are active as various festival headliners.
The X-Dinnery Heroes (Gunil, Jeongsu, Gaon, Odd, Junhan, and Starring) is a band that is attracting attention for its solid musicality and intense color sound, and has successfully performed its second world tour 'Beautiful Mind' this year and continues to take unrivaled steps by performing on the stage 'Lollapalooza Chicago'.
2025 KGMA will be decorated as a festival venue where artists and fans become one by featuring singers who have achieved significant achievements in various categories of popular music, including K-pop, bands, and trot, which have been greatly loved by domestic and foreign fans throughout the year. Red Velvet's Irene and Kiss of Life Natty will be MCs on the 14th and 15th, respectively, while actor Nam Ji-hyun will also be MCs for two consecutive days following last year.
