Actor Lee Ha-nee (42) has expanded back to 'Ama'.
Netflix's original series 'Ama' (directed by Lee Hae-young) is a Netflix series about a top star 'Excitement' and a new actor 'Joo-ae' who bravely confront the dark reality hidden by the colorful spotlight during the birth of the Ero movie that hit Korea in the 1980s. Lee Ha-nee played top star Jung Hee-ran in the play, sending a message to the world, giving viewers a deep resonance.
Lee Ha-nee met with Sports Chosun through a video interview before the release of 'Ama' and confessed her special affection for the work. Lee Ha-nee said, "I have affection for all my works, but I thought that it was so meaningful and precious that in particular 'Ama' would come out in 2025. As an actor and actress living in 2025, I thought the world has changed a lot. There was a pleasure that things that we could say were minorities and that could be considered unfair were now a world where we could speak up. As a human being and an actor, I think I wanted to celebrate that such a work would come out in the world."
Lee Ha-nee confessed that there was also a moment of hesitation before appearing in 'Ama'. The sensational image given by the title 'Madame Lady' would have been burdensome. He said "When the director first said 'Mama' there are symbolic things, so I'll do it."He said that he would read it carefully without saying '. But I had so much fun learning the script. I think I'm a person whose fun is important. I watched 'Ama' thinking that it was so brilliant that I wondered how he thought of releasing 'Ama' in 2025. The focus was not even on stimulating things. Rather, I also have a bed scene, and I think I did a bold bed scene in my own way, but I thought that being able to do that would have been too inconvenient if I had used women for real consumption. Even if it's the same scene, it really depends on what kind of Anglo and what metaphor you see it in, so I felt healthy and harmless because it was a movie, so I think it was an opportunity to act more boldly and act more comfortably, healthier and casual."
'Ama' is being established as a work that evokes women's 'empathy'. Lee Ha-nee also talked about Chungmuro in the 1980s, but she sympathized greatly beyond the times and background. Lee Ha-nui is a local subject, but it seems that 'Ama' is the part that penetrates that it contains the stories of people struggling anywhere. The Olympics opened a new world in the 1980s, but that seems to exist everywhere in that the world is still not good and we have to live anyway and we have to be beepy. The world is getting better, but it's hard for humans not to be silent on absurdities and wrongs, not to end everything in my line, and to take it a step further for a slightly better world. So I think that 'Ama' has a fantasy element as well. A few years ago, things like the `Me Too' movement changed both cultural and social systems. There are also things that cannot be imagined 10 years ago for staff to work, so it seems that there are things that someone has to say courageously. What penetrates even though it is a local subject is that our combative history is still continuing.'
Hee-ran in "Ama" appears as an actress who goes downhill after the appearance of new actor Joo-ae, but she has gained support from viewers as she dreams of developing in a different direction rather than feeling shabby. Lee Ha-nee said "When I talked with Nam Gil (Kim) or Sung Kyun (Kim), "We're in trouble now, we have no place to stand if (the juniors) are good at acting like this." There may be a feeling that Hee-ran looks at Joo-ae, but rather than that, I think there are more things to think about how I can act more seriously and deeply. I actually love acting. I have many hobbies, but I don't think I've found anything more interesting than acting yet. Like people who live crazy about fishing, they seem to get to know the taste of smoke when the steam shakes little by little. In these processes, it is so nice to see the parts that were not before expand, and it is so nice to see them expand little by little, and there is catharsis. I don't know how long I can do it, but I feel like I want to do my best until I can. Now, the days of actresses having children and retiring have passed, but every time I do a work, I tend to think 'This could be my last work. There may be variables that cause something to happen and prevent me from doing the next work. Surprisingly, those things are all around me. So I think this could be the last time, and one piece, one piece, is becoming precious."

Lee Ha-nee married a non-celebrity man two years her senior in 2021, gave birth to a daughter in June of the following year, and became a mother of two on the 24th of last month. Lee Ha-nee said, `I think everything is possible because of the support of my spouse. I feel like I can meet someone like a benefactor and work on it. Rather, they are making things much more boldly than when they were single. In any part, I feel sorry, but I think marriage was possible because I was a person who valued his actions as an actor. I think I'm a person who watches my acting smoothly and watches actress Lee Ha-nui grow up. As I am in a position to have a child and leave something so precious at home to go to the set, I hope it is a work worth leaving behind this precious existence, and I think there is a great desire to spend such time fully. Now, if I go out, I'll be in combat mode. I hope I don't regret it no matter when it's the last time' makes me think more. I think it's true that I have to give up on the opportunity cost compared to time, so I have to break my body as much as possible during the time I go out and concentrate on it."
