Actor Cha In-pyo won the Hwang Soon-won Literature Award for the first time since his debut as a writer, and his wife, Shin Ae-ra, shed tears of joy.

The award-winning scene of Cha In-pyo was revealed. Cha In-pyo said "I really appreciate the readers who read my novel, which has been on a humble bookshelf since I published it 16 years ago. Whenever I wanted to give up, I give honor to my beloved wife, Shin Ae-ra, who has lived for 30 years and always gives me strength, not just when I write," he said, receiving applause for his acceptance speech. Shin Ae-ra was moved together, saying "When I listened to my husband's acceptance speech reading down with a magnifying glass, I stopped crying."

Meanwhile, Cha In-pyo and Shin Ae-ra married in 1995 and had one son and two daughters. After giving birth to their first son in 1998, they adopted two daughters born in 2005 and 2008.
