The current Pop Culture and Arts Industry Development Act stipulates that celebrities and agencies operating in the form of corporations and individual businesses with more than one person must complete the registration of pop culture and arts planning business. Violation of this could result in imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to 20 million won.
