Back street, illegal cafe for unauthorized use of 1,800 pyeong of land? It's not related at all

A cafe operator suspected of using illegal mountain areas on Jeju Island denied his connection to singer Baekga.

On the 7th, cafe president A said in various media that `"It has nothing to do with Backga at all. He said, "I'm careful because I keep over-packaging it with weaving."

KBS previously reported that a large cafe in Seogwipo City was found to have been illegally diverted to mountain areas, so the city requested an investigation.

The cafe was found to have used about 6,000 square meters (1800 pyeong) of forest without permission, excluding buildings. The cafe has been operated with trails, sculptures, and parking lots.

In addition, the cafe drew attention three years ago when a famous celebrity was named as a co-representative.

In the process, a member of the group Coyote was mentioned, and related news spread online.

However, Mr. A drew the line that "Baekga was only involved in the space interior work in 2022, and the contract was terminated in April."

Seogwipo City plans to order the restoration of unauthorized use sites according to the results of the police investigation.

Mr. A tried to improve it after learning belatedly that it was an illegal use of mountain areas, but there were difficulties due to financial conditions"I think the police investigation will be a priority at the moment."
