At 9:50 a.m. on the 30th, the hearing of the 41st Division of Civil Agreement (Chief Judge Chung Hoe-il) at the Seoul Central District Court held a trial date for the validity of the exclusive contract filed by Adore against the five members of Newzins. On the same day, Newzins did not attend the hearing.
The court said "It is difficult to say that Adore violated the exclusive contract just by dismissal of former Adore CEO Min Hee-jin." he said. He also said that `Min Hee-jin fought a public opinion war for New Jin's independence, not for the purpose of protecting it.'
Newzins declared its independent activities last year, saying that the contract was terminated due to the violation of Adore's exclusive contract. However, the court cited all applications for injunction against the signing of the contract, including the preservation of the agency's status and advertising contracts, against the members, and Newzins' independent activities were banned.
