The group NCT 127 seems to have launched a strategy to minimize 'the military white flag (a hiatus due to military service).'

According to SM Entertainment (SM), members Do-young and Jung-woo will join the military side by side on December 8 and will be listed as the third service member in the team. Doyoung will join the army on December 8, and Jungwoo will join the army on the same day after receiving a recent notice of passing the army military band.

Above all, it is possible to postpone the enlistment until the age of 30 under the Military Service Act, but Jung-woo, born in 1998, chose to serve in the military at a relatively early time, drawing attention. It is interpreted as a choice to reduce the hiatus of the entire team and maintain future activity engines.




With the enlistment of Do-young and Jung-woo, NCT 127 will continue its activities in a seven-member system for a while, but Tae-yong will be discharged soon and Jae-hyun will return in May next year. Earlier in April last year, Taeyong joined the Navy's military band as a cultural public relations soldier and is expected to be discharged from the military on December 14. Jae-hyun entered the military band of the Korea Military Academy in November last year and is scheduled to be discharged from the military on May 3 next year.

Except for foreign members Johnny, Utah and Mark, there is only one Haechan who was born in 2000, and the team's 'White Army Risk' is expected to be minimized for the time being.

Jung-woo is so busy that he can't miss the farewell with his fans until he joins the army. On November 28, the first solo fan meeting 'Golden Suga Time' will be held at the TicketLink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul, to spend a sweet time with fans.




He will also continue his presence on the stage by playing the role of Li Yu in the Seo Taiji Musical Fest Concert This Is Fest, which will be held at Yonsei University's auditorium in Seoul from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.

Doyoung also had a busy year with individual activities this year. From June to September, he successfully completed a solo concert 'You' in seven Asian cities, including Seoul, Yokohama, Singapore, Macau, Kobe, Bangkok, and Taipei, solidifying his position as a solo artist. From drama OST and brand ambassador activities, he has demonstrated the aspect of 'Working hard icon'.

Since its debut in 2016, NCT 127 has established itself as a representative K-pop boy group, gaining global popularity with a number of hits such as 'Fire Truck', 'Infinite', 'Cherry Bomb', 'Hero', 'Regular', 'Run', 'Fact Check', and 'Piggle'.
