Baek Se-hee, who comforted countless people with the bestseller 「I want to die, but I want to eat tteokbokki」, has saved five lives and passed away. He was 35 years old.

On the 17th, the Korea Organ tissue donation center announced that Baek Se-hee donated heart, lung, liver, and kidneys (both sides) to the brain-dead organ donation at Ilsan Hospital of the National Health Insurance Corporation. His organs will be used to save five lives.

Writer Baek Se-hee received great love for her essay 'I want to die, but I want to eat tteokbokki' that honestly recorded the counseling process after diagnosis of depression. A total of 600,000 copies of the first and second flights were sold in Korea, and they were exported to about 25 countries, drawing deep sympathy from readers around the world. In particular, it has become an international bestseller, selling 100,000 copies within six months of its UK publication in 2022.
