Singer Nam Woo-hyun revealed an unconventional cross-dressing figure.

The PR company, the producer of the musical 'Sugar', released Nam Woo-hyun's concept profile on the 27th and the character video on the 29th.

The released image caught the eye at once as it contained the luxurious visuals of Nam Woo-hyun wearing a suit in a dark background. The intense gaze of staring straight ahead at the hairstyle that revealed the forehead shook global fan sentiment.




Another cut showed Nam Woo-hyun, who turned into a female Jo (Jose-pin), drawing an explosive response. Nam Woo-hyun's captivating visuals, wearing a bobble wig and dark makeup and colorful accessories, shocked everyone by boasting a perfect synchronization with Jo (Josephin).

The character video, which was then released, also vividly captured the two images of Joe (Josephin), creating admiration. In the video, Nam Woo-hyun perfectly expresses the two opposing charms of the character with charismatic eyes and charming gestures, raising expectations for the work.

The musical "Sugar" is based on the classic comedy film "Some Like It Hot" that has been loved all over the world. Set in the 1929 sobriety era, it gleefully depicts a left-handed happening when two jazz musicians who happen to witness gang killings dress up as women to save their lives and join a female band in camouflage.




In 'Sugar', Nam Woo-hyun plays Joe (Josephin), a romantic saxophonist who tries to cross-dress to live. Expectations are high for his unique acting transformation, which has raised expectations for the performance by revealing his unconventional cross-dressing through conceptual profiles and character videos.

The musical 『Sugar" starring Nam Woo-hyun will be performed at the KEPCO Art Center Grand Theater in Seoul from December 12 to February 22, 2026.

Meanwhile, Nam Woo-hyun is meeting with global fans through a solo concert 'Arbor Day 5 - 'TREE HIGH SCHOOL' Asia tour. Starting with Seoul in August, he will continue his tour in Manila on November 15 and Hong Kong on November 22 and 23, after successfully performing in Macau, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur.
