Chu Chang-min expressed his faith in Rowoon.

Director Choo Chang-min met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 21st for an interview at the end of the Disney+ original series 'Takryu' (written by Chun Sung-il, directed by Chu Chang-min). Director Choo Chang-min revealed the reason for casting young actors such as Rowoon, Shin Ye-eun, and Park Seo-ham, saying, `I think I wanted to work with young actors. Previously, I did a lot of movies with middle-aged or elderly actors who were very good at acting, but I thought I wanted to do it with young actors and actors whose acting has not been proven in a fresh way. I think Disney saw it positively. As a result, I think the current actor has been decided naturally."

Choo then said, `I thought the power of being young was good. I'm not much better at acting, but the editor-in-chief said that. Editing young actors makes me feel better. It's good to see your face and good energy. I think it was the same for filming. In a way, all three of them knew that there were quite a few young actors who were careful to defend themselves, although they were not just unfaithful, but this subdivision seemed to be a good material because it was a situation where they put almost everything into it. Because I could cook whatever I wanted. Should I say that it's a young energy for me. I think it was mysterious and good."

Rowoon once described director Choo Chang-min's directing as `Director preparing 20 condiments.' It means that you save the filming by shooting multiple times in one scene. In response, director Chu said, `I don't think young actors have tried such detailed acting. In a way, the medium of TV seems to want an expression that is easy to convey emotions. Sadness is sad, joy is joy. That's how the audience realizes the scene quickly. However, rather than that, I think I broke it down into small pieces, just as there are various sorrows in sadness and various joys in joy. I discussed with the actors what kind of sadness and what kind of joy this is and asked them to act accordingly.

Director Chu said of Ro Woon "Especially actors like Ro Woon, I think I ignored a little bit at first. As an idol, I had a concept, and I thought that the handsome actor might not be good at acting, but when I saw Rowoon, he was very emotionally deep. So it was a necessary element for an actor. But now, if you just make me fall into that feeling, it comes out like real. "I couldn't give him that time and element, so he's only been acting on the surface, and I think he's as emotional as anyone as you've seen because he gave it to me properly."

Then "Seoham actor seems to have had a hard time at first. He is a friend who has no experience, so I just wanted a more diverse and decisive acting, but since he hasn't experienced it, he thought a lot about it and struggled, but I think he has accumulated a lot over time. The latter part is much better. Yeeun is a smart friend. He's a really good actor. I think he's a good actor."

"'Takryu' is a destiny-building action drama of those who dreamed different dreams to turn the chaotic world around the Gyeonggang River, where all the money and supplies of Joseon gather, and starred Ro Woon, Shin Ye-eun, Park Seo-ham, and Park Ji-hwan. Director Chu Chang-min made the films 'Gwanghae, Man Who Became King', '7 Years' Night' and 'Land of Happiness' and challenged the series for the first time through 'Turbulent'.
