On the 9th, OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER) announced the launch of a new font 'ZEN SERIF' (Gen Serif), which hopes that more people can use Hangul conveniently and beautifully through its official website and SNS channel.
OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER) also registered Korean fonts for the first time in the Instagram short-form video editing app 'Edits' (edit) through collaboration with Meta, and from the 9th of Hangeul Day, all app users around the world can use the new font freely.
This 'ZEN SERIF' font was released to promote the beauty of Hangul around the world with the traditional aesthetic and modern sense as the identity of Jenny and OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), and it is even more meaningful as the font was released on Hangeul Day.
Previously, Jennie promoted Korea's style to the world with the tracks 'ZEN'(Gen) and 'Seoul City'(Seoul City) from her first full-length album, and revealed her special love and pride in Korea through various activities, including serving as an honorary ambassador for Seoul Tourism.
'ZEN SERIF' is a newly created font from today's perspective, away from a fixed image. It contains the delicate artistry unique to ODATELIER by minimizing decorations to save the essence, removing hard impressions, and adding flexible curves. By combining black letter, a traditional Western typeface, and Hangul, it has completed an unfamiliar combination that no one has ever tried.
