According to the British Daily Mail and fashion magazine British Vogue on the 23rd (local time), Sean Tapind and Jung Da-hye married at a cathedral owned by a Givenchy family in August. The wedding lasted three days from August 28 to 30 and consisted of a rehearsal dinner, a welcome brunch, a main ceremony, and a reception.
The two first met in 2018 at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and after seven years of dating, they were married. In an interview with fashion magazine Vogue, Sean Taffin de Givenchy wrote "I fell in love at first sight with Da-hye, who participated as an event volunteer team."
The couple, who are the same age in their late 20s, first held a small ceremony in a New York court in February last year, inviting only their family and friends.
The first rehearsal dinner in Paris was held at the Michelin restaurant 'La Fontaine Gaillon'. Jeong Da-hye completed her elegant style by matching Victoria Beckham's dress with an ivory jacket from the Korean brand of `Kim Hae-kim.' He said "It's a brand I've been eyeing for a long time, and I liked the classic jacket with pearl decorations added"
The highlight, the main ceremony, was held at the Basilique Sainte-Clotilde in central Paris. Sean said "Dahye and I grew up Catholic and wanted a Mass-style wedding"It is a cathedral in a neighborhood where families live, where we have held important events in our family."
Jeong showed off her elegant appearance by wearing a tube-top silk dress and cape produced by Korean designer Andrew Kwon. After a year and a half of production, Andrew Kwon completed a custom dress just for Jung Da-hye.
Local French media reported that the wedding of the two was the `best wedding in the social world' this year and that `tradition, modernity, and Parisian sophistication are in perfect harmony.'
Jung Da-hye said in her personal account, "The wedding I dreamed of was a timeless classic and Parisian sensibility"It was such a detailed wedding that I made more than 100 vision boards.", he expressed his feelings.
Meanwhile, Sean Taffin de Givenchy's father, Hubert Taffin de Givenchy, died in 2016. He took over the name of his uncle, Weber de Givenchy, who founded Givenchy in 1952.
Givenchy was acquired by the world's largest luxury group LVMH (Louis Vuittonmoe Hennessy) in 1988, but the Givenchy family still maintains close ties with the fashion world.
