Lee Ju-an, who played Gong Gil in the drama *'The Tyrant's Chef'*, appeared in the MBC entertainment show *'Omniscient Interfering View'* that aired on the 18th. Lee Ju-an in the VCR released on the day drew attention as deep surgical marks on his abdomen were captured while changing his top.
When the cast members who saw it in the studio asked "What happened to the scar?", Lee Ju-an confessed "A mark from donating liver to his mother".
Lee Ju-an "8 years ago, my mother was diagnosed with cirrhosis. I said I'd go to the hospital and get a transplant, but they said my liver is smaller than others. Two of the three doctors in charge objected, and my mother also recalled the time, saying, `Don't do it.'
However, her mother's condition worsened and she fell into a coma due to liver cancer, and she said, `I was the decision maker then.' He calmly said "I wanted to return what came out of my mother's body."

Fortunately, the mother has been declared completely cured and is continuing outpatient treatment. Lee Ju-an "The liver regenerated about 80% of its original size. But the function is not the same as before. It takes me three days to detoxify what others will take a day.'
Lee Young-ja "It is not easy to give liver for mothers in the world these days. What a beautiful surgical mark."
