Seo Hee-je, the younger brother of the late Seo Hee-won, lamented his brother-in-law Koo Jun-yeop.

He is currently staying in Taiwan, arranging his wife's belongings, and preserving the studio space she used during her lifetime.

Seo-hee's appearance and remarks on the day showed that the absence of the late Seo Hee-won still remains a huge loss for all of the family. Meanwhile, in 2022, Koo Joon-yeop married Seo Hee-won, who reunited after 20 years, and started living together in Taiwan. Since then, local media have caught Koo Joon-yeop visiting his wife's grave every day, eating, taking pictures together and talking. In addition, he is known to have almost stopped his SNS activities and consistently left behind paintings depicting the deceased's life.

Local media outlet Apple Daily reported that "Seo Hee-won's portrait is hanging on the wall of his house, and he still lives like a `wife and living together.'," he reported.
