The group New Beat (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Cho Yoon-hoo, and Kim Ri-woo) will appear on MBC '2025 Chuseok Special Idol Star Championship' (hereinafter referred to as 'Idol Star Championship'), which will air at 5:10 p.m. today (6th).
Newbit, who will participate in the Idol Star Athletics Championships for the first time since his debut, will compete in the 60M running event on the same day. They play with bold spirit and passion, showing a fresh charm to the home viewers of the holiday.
In particular, NewBeat has previously shown strong mental strength by completing a 100km walking mission in its own content, raising questions about whether it will be able to show off its hidden athletic skills through this Idol Star Athletics Championships.
NewBeat is a rookie boy group that debuted in March with its first full-length album 'RAW AND RAD' (Ler and Lad). Prior to their debut, they had accumulated stage experience by conducting busking tours in 14 cities, including the United States and Mexico.
