According to the bereaved family, the deceased died at 4:22 a.m. on the 23rd. He was 93.
Born in Osaka, Japan in 1932, the deceased graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Vocal Music and worked for the Yegreen Choir and acted as the leading soprano in a number of works, including the opera 'Romeo and Juliet'.
She married her husband Kang Moon-soo (1923-2022), a film director and a broadcast drama writer, and ran a "Small Star Art Academy". Later, he discovered his children's musical talent by creating a children's theater company in 1968, and in 1974, he introduced a nine-member family band, Little Star, consisting of a couple and six sons and one daughter. It was called the "Korean version of Sound of Music" and received national love.
In 1976, the children's television animated film theme song was released and officially performed on the stage. Since then, his father has been in charge of his manager, his mother has been in charge of costumes and hair, and he has been active until 1984 by reorganizing into a small seven-member vocal group consisting of only children.
The deceased continued his passion for music in his old age. In September last year, when he was battling dementia, he appeared with his daughter Kang Ae-rija on the MBN program 『Unforgettable Duet" and sang 『 Becoming a Thousand Wind』.
The mortuary was set up in Room 202 of Yongin Pyeongon Forest Funeral Home, and the coffin was set at 7:30 a.m. on the 25th, and the burial site was Yongin Pyeongon Forest.
