The Seoul High Court's Civil Affairs Department 8-1 (Judge Kim Tae-ho and others) ruled on the 25th of last month that `Park Yoo-chun and Lee Cielo jointly pay 500 million won and delayed interest' in a lawsuit filed by management company HaveFunTogether against Park Yoo-chun and his former agency, Lee Cielo.
The court did not accept Park Yoo-chun's claim of 'Independent Activities after Termination of Exclusive Contracts'. It was determined that continuing activities through separate management companies while the contract was valid constitutes a violation of the provisional injunction order and the contract.
However, in the course of the appeal, the "HaveFunTogether failed to pay some of the settlement money" raised by Li CieloIn recognition of the counterclaim (counterclaim), " also ruled that HaveFunTogether should pay about KRW 470 million to Li Cielo.
However, Park objected to the ruling. According to Star News, Park Yoo-chun filed an appeal through his legal representative on the 16th against the appellate court's ruling. This opened up the possibility that this issue would lead to a Supreme Court judgment.
Park Yoo-chun made his debut as a singer and actor in 2004 as a group TVXQ, but effectively suspended his activities in the domestic entertainment industry due to various controversies, including a sex scandal in 2016 and a 2019 arrest and prosecution for methamphetamine administration. Currently, it is mainly active overseas such as Thailand and Japan.
