Actor Shim Hyung-tak shows unexpected tears at Doraemon's birthday party.

KBS 2TV entertainment show Superman is back, which aired on the 1st At the end, a trailer for Shim Hyung-tak's family was released. In the released video, Shim Hyung-tak drew attention by holding a 'Doraemon' birthday party with his son Haru.

He keeps the Doraemon dolls he has collected in the living room and says, "Dear Eamonn, happy birthday to you." and sang a happy birthday song. Son Haru smiled happily at his father's song, and Shim Hyung-tak showed tears as if he were wet with deep appreciation, drawing attention from viewers.

Meanwhile, Shim Hyung-tak married his Japanese wife Saya, who is 18 years younger, in 2022 and then married in Korea and Japan in 2023. In January of the same year, he held his first son Haru in his arms.

Also well-known as a big fan of Doraemon, he said of how he became fond of the character "When he was a second grader in elementary school, he was about 120 to 130 centimeters tall. I was teased a lot by my friends because I was shorter than my girlfriends. I really needed Doraemon then. I liked it because I wanted you to help me."
