The first hearing was held on the 18th against A and B accused of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (using special rape, cameras, etc.) at the 13th Criminal Department (B) hearing of the Suwon District Court. On this day, A and B said they acknowledged all the charges.
Mr. A and Mr. B are accused of sexually assaulting Mr. A's girlfriend, Mr. C, at a pension in Jebu-do, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do on August 27. In the process, the two even filmed the sexual assault crime with their cell phones.
On September 22, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office's Women and Children Crime Investigation Department indicted A and B, and the two are appealing for leniency by submitting dozens of letters of apology, a pledge to prevent recidivism, a volunteer work plan, and a life plan.
The court is scheduled to proceed with the defendant's interrogation on the 8th of next month.
