Meanwhile, Ahn Sung-ki was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2019 and was cured in 2020 through treatment, but recurred during follow-up and is being treated again. In 2022, he was worried about his swollen face and uncomfortable behavior, but he attended public appearances such as the 4th April 19 Democratic Peace Prize in 2023, the 27th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and the 43rd Golden Shooting Awards.
