Lee Young-ae Donates 10 Million Won to Aid Thai Student Hospitalized in Korea

According to Chonnam National University on the 14th, Sirinha, who was learning Korean at Chonnam National University's Language Education Center, was found collapsed in his accommodation in July. After being transferred to the hospital, he was diagnosed with subdural hemorrhage, and has been receiving hospital treatment in a coma for three months so far.
When the story of Sirinha, who had difficulty in treatment and returning home due to economic difficulties, became known, students and faculty members began to raise money, centering on the Chonnam National University Relief Volunteer Club 'Rhythm of Hope'. The fundraising, which originally started with a goal of 9 million won, added to the participation of citizens, and more than doubled the target amount.
Lee Young-ae also donated 10 million won after learning about Sirinha's sad story. ""Rhythm of Hope" said Lee Young-ae heard Sirinha's unfortunate circumstances and expressed her intention to donate."It was a great help along with the sincerity of the students and faculty members." Lee Young-ae said, `I am rather grateful that the students did such a good job.'
Shirina, who has to be transferred to her home country relying on medical equipment, will be evacuated to Thailand on a flight from Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 15th. Korean Air will provide five aircraft seats to enable the installation of oxygen respirators and medical equipment, and cooperate to facilitate the transfer process.
