Min Hee-jin, CEO of OK, lost the lawsuit against Hive once again.

On the 14th of last month, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul dismissed Min Hee-jin's complaint against former Hive CEO Park Ji-won and Chief Communications Officer Park Tae-hee on charges of violating the Information and Communication Network Act.

Min Hee-jin claimed that in November last year, former CEO Park and CCO Park arbitrarily forensically forensics their work laptops and e-mails, and leaked Kakao Talk messages secured in this way to the outside. In response, Hive countered that Min Hee-jin had not returned her laptop and that she had read the e-mail in accordance with the due process during the audit.

The police judged that there was no basis to prove the claim that Min Hee-jin returned the laptop in August 2022, and that Hive's access to work emails was a legitimate exercise of authority.

In this regard, Min Hee-jin's side is in a position to file an objection.

However, as the police judged that Hive's audit process and data secured were all legal, attention is focused on whether it will affect the results of the lawsuit between Min Hee-jin and Hive.

The Kakao Talk conversation secured by Hive reportedly contained circumstances in which Min Hee-jin and Lee, former vice president of A-Door, discussed in detail independence from the members of Newzins.

Min Hee-jin, including Park CCO in July last year?Five Yves executives were sued for illegal audits, but the decision to reject was made due to insufficient evidence.

Min Hee-jin is also filing a lawsuit against Hive for stock trading.
