NEWBEAT Secures First Rookie Award, Solidifying Their Rise in K-Pop



New Beat has established itself as a rookie in the spotlight this year, receiving the honor of its first rookie award.

The group New Beat (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Cho Yoon-hoo, and Kim Ri-woo) attended the 17th Seoul Access Awards held on the 24th and won the Rookie of the Year award.

On this day, NewBeat expressed his feelings, saying, `I am so honored and grateful to receive this precious award called the Rookie of the Year' and `Thank you to Neuro (fandom name) and Bit Interactive family members who always support and love us.' "I will work hard to become a new beat that meets expectations with better performances and music."," he added, receiving applause.




NewBeat then performed the "Look So Good" performance, one of the double title songs of his recently released first mini-album 'LOUDER THAN EVER' (Louder Dan Ever). Members who appeared in all-black leather suits heated up the atmosphere on the spot by performing powerful performances to songs with pop R&B retro sensibilities in the early 2000s.

NewBeat is a seven-member boy group that debuted in the music industry in March with its first full-length album 'RAW AND RAD' (Ler and Lad) and has attracted attention by carrying out mega-projects such as Mnet's global debut show and SBS' debut fan showcase. Recently, he released his first mini album 'LOUDER THAN EVER' with famous overseas producers such as Neil Omandy, who collaborated with Billboard TOP10 artists and Espa, and Candace Sosa, who participated in the BTS album.

In particular, NewBeat ranked No. 1 in the K-pop genre, No. 2 in the pop genre, and No. 5 in the overall genre on the iTunes U.S. music video chart with its double title song `Look So Good" shortly after its release. It is standing out on the global charts, entering the TOP 100 for the first time with 81st place on the popularity chart of YouTube Music Week in Korea.




Meanwhile, NewBeat is planning to continue its first comeback activities actively through various online and offline and music broadcasts.
