Lee Soon-jae passed away early on the 25th. He was 91. The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 30 of the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and his wife Choi Hee-jung and two children were named as the residents. The coffin is scheduled for 6:20 a.m. on the 27th, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon.
The bereaved families are welcoming mourners while guarding the mortuary in deep sorrow. Park Kyung-rim, who visited the mortuary earlier this afternoon, said "As you all know, Lee Soon-jae is an exemplary senior. I have a feeling of sorrow. I've only heard the news recently, but I've been supporting it in my heart. I hope you are healthy there. I pray for the repose of the deceased."
In honor of the achievements of the deceased during his lifetime, he said "The teacher was an adult who had a great influence on the entertainment industry as a whole" "He showed great performance at every moment. I met the teacher a few times at production presentations and production reports, and every time I did, I cheered for him a lot. He loved variety shows and did sitcoms. I also did a sitcom, so he always told me that he was watching it well. So I was really grateful. He expressed his respect for us, saying, "He always showed us that cultural artists should look like this, not through words, but through actions."
Finally, Park Kyung-rim expressed her sincere heart, saying, `As the teacher said, the juniors will walk well along the road,' `I hope you don't get sick and be happy there.'
Lee Soon-jae, who debuted in 1956 with the play 'Over the Horizon', served as an exclusive actor for the first TBC in 1965, and became a national actor by appearing in various works such as 'Ambitious', 'Goodbye', and 'Bath House Men'. He then appeared in MBC sitcoms 'High Kick' without hesitation' and tvN entertainment 'Grandpas Over Flowers' and was loved all over the country.
Meanwhile, the bereaved family decided not to receive condolences from ordinary citizens at the mortuary. Instead, a special memorial altar will be set up in the KBS main building and the annex to commemorate the deceased.
