This year marks the 24th anniversary of the death of the late comedian Yang Jong-chul.

Yang Jong-cheol was killed in a car accident near the intersection of Gangnam-gu Office in Seoul at around 3:50 a.m. on Nov. 23, 2001. He was 39.

The deceased, who was driving a car at the time, hit two taxis waiting for a signal from behind and died at the scene when the vehicle overturned.




Yang Jong-chul, who made his debut as a comedian for KBS's 4th open recruitment in 1987, played in a variety of programs, including 'Humor No. 1', 'Comedy Highway', and 'With a Smile'.
