Actor Joo Won delivered his thoughts after filming the movie 'Firefighter'.

Released on December 4th, the story of firefighters who were put in with a single goal of extinguishing fire and saving power despite poor conditions during the Hongje-dong fire disaster in 2001, and director Kwak Kyung-taek of the series "Friends" took the megaphone.




Joo Won plays Cheol-woong, a new firefighter at the Western Fire Station. He said, "Because it's based on the real story, I was happy and had a lot of fun on the set, but on the other hand, I had a heavy heart.""I acted while thinking about the firefighters throughout the shooting," he said.

When asked how he felt about seeing the work, Ju-won replied "I think the director neatly expressed the environment and hard work of the firefighters." Then "It was like that at the time of filming, but it seems that respect for firefighters is growing more and more. In addition, it seems that there are many people who work in bad environments as well as the job of firefighters. I think the movie 'Firefighter' will be watched as they sympathize with it.
