Seo Dong-ju, who is confident that he can work and love well, dreamed of a happy marriage with Yeo Eun-nam.
But Seo's confidence and ambition collapsed in an instant. When Seo Dong-ju woke up, he was puzzled that Yeo Eun-nam, who had a fond night with him, had disappeared. However, he hurriedly left the house to prepare for the wedding of Cha Kang-cheon's maternal granddaughter. And upon arriving at the wedding hall, Seo Dong-ju found out that the son-in-law of Chairman Cha Kang-cheon was Yeom Jang-sun's nephew and prosecutor Yeom Hee-chul (Kwon Soo-hyun), who had a bad relationship with him in school.
The wedding has finally begun. Seo Dong-ju was in shock. It was the bride who entered the wedding hall, the only granddaughter of Chairman Cha Kang-cheon, and the niece and daughter-in-law of the non-first son-in-law Yeom Jang-seon who would be the daughter-in-law. Yeo Eun-nam hardened when he saw Seo Dong-ju's face. However, he soon entered Virgin Road again, holding the hand of his stepfather, Heo Il-do. The first episode of 'Treasure Island' ended with Seo Dong-ju screaming desperately for betrayal.
The first episode of 'Treasure Island' captured the small screen with a stormy story. The faces of the characters sprinting furiously toward their respective desires were surprisingly stark, while giving them a breathtaking sense of tension. In particular, Park Hyung-sik, who transformed into an ambitious man and exuded his masculine yet mature charm, was powerful. Heo Jun-ho's villainous presence, which causes goosebumps in the moment, was also powerful even though he had not yet shown his true colors. The sensuous directing ability, which completed all of this with a high degree of immersion, was also impressive.
It was the first time that the script, direction, and acting matched perfectly. On top of that, he even showed the ending of the next episode that made me curious.
