At 2 p.m. on the 12th, a production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'He's Black Salt Dragon' was held online. Director Soohyun Lee, who directed with actors Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Lim Semi, and Kwak Si-yang, attended the meeting.
tvN 'He's a Black Salt Dragon' is an unsealed romance between Baek Soo-jung, the team leader, who suffers from a black history'Director Keeler', and Ban Ki-yeon, the team leader with a black salt dragon on his chest'Chaebeol III'. Based on Hyejin Yang's popular Naver webtoon of the same name, director Soohyun Lee and writer Kim Soo-yeon, who directed tvN Beneficial Fraud, joined forces to complete a solid lineup of leading characters Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Lim Semi, and Kwak Si-yang.
In the play, Lim Semi plays the role of the owner of the pub 'Seo Ha-jin', showing off her bright and boozy girl crush charm. Kwak Si-yang, who has given off a strong presence with her ever-changing character digestibility, will show her warm charm through the character of Yongsung Department Store's design room head 'Kim Shin-won'.
Lim Semi was the first to wonder about director Soohyun Lee. I heard a lot of people around me that they enjoyed watching 'The Man's Memorabilia' and 'The Beneficial Fraud' so I wanted to meet them once," he said, explaining why he chose the work. Then "The script was so cute and lovely, and I was curious about the story of a maniacal life. I really liked that I was able to be with actor Moon Ga Young," he added.
Regarding taking on the character 'Sweet Man', which is completely different from the existing strong image, Kwak Si-yang laughed, saying, `Many people say 'Gu Si-yang can't play a good role'.' Then "I couldn't help but feel pressured, but I think I can show you the 'puppy beauty' that I couldn't show you this time.", raising expectations.
Regarding the 'couple chemistry' with Guaciyang, Lim Semi said "The charm of Ha-jin-Shinwon couple is 'spicy taste." At first, it starts with a hot emotional line, but gradually turns into warm and deep love. "The actor Guksiyang set the mood on the spot and acted so well that the narrative was made natural even if he was just still " he said.
Kwak Si-yang also laughed, saying, `At first, I was scared because the character played by Im Semi was so hot.' `Since there were many adult emotional lines, we talked a lot and matched each other. Without semi-actress, we would not have had a couple narrative or chemistry."
Meanwhile, tvN 'He's a Black Salt Dragon' will air at 8:50 p.m. on the 17th.
