Honorary Chairman Jeon Yoo-sung focused on the core of comedy acting, 'idea idea', and made it possible for students to apply on stage naturally through classes.

Chang Je-guk, president of Dongseo University, said, `We want to train new professional talents through a systematic curriculum with Korea's top comedy experts and support them to grow into high-profile comedy actors on the world stage. We will do our best to cultivate a `glocal talent' who starts from the region and makes a leap to the world stage" he said.

In addition, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Busan International Comedy Festival"Kim Joon-ho said, "I hope we can develop famous comedy talents in Busan with solid instructors and hands-on lectures. And at the end of this semester, we would like to provide a place for students who have completed their majors to stand on the stage of the 13th Busan International Comedy Festival."

Meanwhile, the Busan International Comedy Festival' is held for 10 days from the end of August every year with the support of the Busan Metropolitan Government, and this 'Comedy Academy' will be the cornerstone to support many talented young people in Busan to perform.
