"The Netflix release was decided after changing from the original theatrical release, but I didn't think I would have a chance to see the movie in theaters at that time, so I rented the theater, asking for the last presentation with actors and staff. After that, I watched the movie again according to the Netflix OTT platform, but the details were not well contained on a small screen. Then, as the movie was released again, it was good to see the actors' acting and details better and see a lot of them on the screen. I'm satisfied as a director because it's a movie I worked on for a theater in the first place."
The reason why I chose the Go movie in the second movie is that "Go" cannot be explained in the movie at all, but first of all, I think it's the main story of Cho Hoon-hyun and Lee Chang-ho, so I'm attracted to it a lot by itself. "I decided to challenge this work because I thought that if I could follow the emotions of the characters in the drama if I could just give a kind explanation and catch the flow of the game well for the audience who doesn't know how to play Go."
'Victory' is a story about Korea's best Go legend, Cho Hoon-hyun, who once again challenges the top with his natural temperament as a adventurer after losing a match against his student.
