Jisoo Reflects on Completing 'Newtopia' and Teases Future Projects



Singer and actor JISOO expressed his feelings about finishing 'Newtopia'.

In the Coupang Play series 'Newtopia', which ended on the 21st, Ji-soo played the role of a single mind 'Jae-yoon (Park Jung-min) Baragi', which cannot be stopped even by zombies, and Young-joo, who is united with courage and pulpit, led a development that cannot be missed until the end.

Jisoo, who successfully transformed her character by showing her new face with "Newtopia", said through her agency BLISSO, "It feels like a precious piece came out with a lot of actors and staff and it's an honor to be a part of it."," he said of his thoughts.

In the seventh episode, when he faced a group of villains, he instantly delivered a violent emotional change with a terrified expression and fear, maximizing the tension.




In the last episode 8, Young-ju, who finally reunited with Jae-yoon after breaking through zombies, formed a one-team team and began another journey. The lord, who defeated more zombies alone than Jaeyoon, is full of emotions. "You can't even imagine it. What I've been through..." he opened up calmly. The zombie crisis was still ongoing, but he confirmed his love, which became stronger in the meantime, completed the lingering ending with a confident and hopeful smile, delivering an unshakable promise of "I'll protect you".

Meanwhile, Jisoo successfully released her new mini-album 'AMORTAGE' last month and performed well on music charts around the world with the title song 'earthquake'. Currently, the 2025 fan meeting tour 'LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!' is underway, touring seven Asian cities, including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.
