Lee Je-hoon Captivates in ‘The Art of Negotiation’ with Masterful Acting

Actor Lee Je-hoon's density, 'The art of negotiation' is saved.

Although Lee Je-hoon received a new type of challenge in JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 『The Art of Negotiation』 (written by Lee Seung-young, directed by Ahn Pan-seok), he gave viewers a strong sense of immersion by portraying Yoon Jun-no in a dense manner with unshakable confidence and conviction. In the 7th episode, it was revealed that Song (Sung Dong-il), chairman of the industrial group, took out a loan with stocks as collateral, and the maturity was soon approaching, and the process of negotiations to resolve the situation was drawn with Juno and M&A team members as they had to repay the principal and interest in full in cash.

Earlier, Yoon Jun-ho first learned through Lee Sang-moo (Oh Man-seok) that Chairman Song borrowed 50 billion won as collateral for his stock in the mountains. Juno, who was called to the chairman's office to resolve the issue, said "If the chairman sells the stock now, the stock could plunge."," he said, expressing a firm opinion to face the crisis of the industrial group. However, Chairman Song took this lightly and "Who's going to die?Juno, who responded with a cold gaze and had to protect the company, did not bend his opinion. Juno asked Chairman Song where he spent 50 billion won to resolve the situation, and in response to the response that he bought the resort, Juno asks to sell the resort, but Chairman Song refuses to do so. On the other hand, Ha Jeon-moo (Jang Hyun-sung) persuaded the Samoel Fund to take out more loans, and Chairman Song stimulated the two by competing, asking them to do it their way. Juno was not embarrassed by this, and the competition among those who showed Yoon Juno-like confidence further raised the interest of the play.

Juno worked his brain to find out why he owned the resort prior to the due diligence. In the meantime, he accidentally found a snack bought by a secretary-general and found a clue that it was a resort located on Jeju Island, and naturally searched for Yumin IB Kang Yi-sa (Park Hyung-soo) and found that it was a tea resort. The M&A team members first left for the resort's due diligence, and Juno talked with Kang and Lee Sang-moo (Oh Man-seok) to even figure out that the owner of the tea ceremony resort was not Song, but his daughter, Song Ji-oh (SONGZIO). In addition, Lee Sang-moo asked Juno not to sell the resort, saying, "I did it too hard because it was the request of my daughter, who lost her mother and wandered around when Song was young."

Nevertheless, at the end of the play, Juno directly told SONGZIO that he was considering selling the tea resort and SONGZIO said he would not sell the resort with a smile, which ended with subtle tension between the two. Meanwhile, at the beginning of the broadcast, Juno was depicted under investigation for illegal stock trading using internal information in the past. He continued to answer the prosecutor's interrogation as if something was unfair, but the death of the suspect's brother ended the investigation, raising questions about Juno's past as to what the truth was yet to be revealed.

Lee Je-hoon also perfectly portrayed Yoon Jun-no's details in this episode with excellent character interpretation and understated emotional performance. In yesterday's broadcast, the crisis situation created by the head of the group had to be resolved, so the seriousness and sharpness unique to Yoon Jun-no that Lee Je-hoon portrays stood out even more. He showed off his calm charm by capturing the intellectual side of the character in detail in the process of obtaining information or deducing through accidental clues. In particular, in making a straightforward statement to Chairman Song about the solution to the problem, Lee Je-hoon made the viewers feel persuaded by creating a unique mid-low and strong tone as Yoon Jun-no is in charge of the company. Yoon Jun-no's 『Intelligence Beauty』, created by Lee Je-hoon, is the biggest reason not only to attract viewers, but also to be evaluated as the most suitable actor for the character. Actor Lee Je-hoon, who believes and sees in this way, is further enhancing the completeness of the play because he has an unrivaled ability to create characters. Now, expectations are rising for Lee Je-hoon's performance of 'empty' in the future in 'The Art of Negotiation', which tells half of the story.
