Seo Kang-jun Shines with Intense Action and Emotion in ‘Undercover High School’

Actor Seo Kang-joon captivated the small screen with his passionate performance of blood, sweat, and tears.

Seo Kang-joon played the role of Jung Hae-sung, an NIS agent, in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama Undercover High School that aired on the 21st, making viewers immerse themselves with action and high-level emotional acting.

On this day, Jung Hae-sung struggled desperately in the junkyard. Lee Joon-ho (Roh Jong-hyun) and Jung Hae-sung, who are in crisis related to the corruption case of school records, jumped in without hesitation to save their colleagues from the National Intelligence Service, were heroes themselves. In addition, Jung Hae-sung made a brain play against Seo Myung-joo (Kim Shin-rok) while holding a USB containing the whole story of corruption.

Seo's action was both experienced and sleek. Seo Kang-jun overwhelmed the gaze with his outstanding physicality and dynamic movements. It was the moment when a new famous scene was born following the opening action in the first inning, the scene of illegal gambling attacks, and the night duel scene of the sick man.

His emotional performance also stood out. After Oh Soo-ah (Jin Ki-joo), who promised to protect her, was attacked, Jung Hae-sung fell into a deep self-blame. Seo Kang-joon portrayed complex emotions with his eyes and facial expressions, making viewers desperate, and his conflicting attitude toward his support team leader Ahn (Jeon Bae-soo) was also overwhelming.

As such, Seo Kang-joon made viewers burn with a balanced and enthusiastic performance that focused on blood and sweat and emotional acting with tears. Attention is also drawn to another acting variation that Seo Kang-joon, who acts like a hero Black Widow in the movie, will show through Undercover High School.

Meanwhile, MBC Undercover High School, starring Seo Kang-joon, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
