On the afternoon of the 7th, a production presentation for Genie TV's original drama 'New Disease 3' was held at the D-Cube City The St. in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Min Jin-ki and actors Kim Min-ho, Kim Dong-joon, Oh Dae-hwan, Nam Tae-woo and Kim Hyun-kyu were present on the day.
A hyper-realist comedy about the story of a recruit joining the army in a place where everything from good to bad to weird comes together. The Shinbyeong 3 is on the verge of an emergency due to the unexpected transfer of two recruits and the return of a legendary villain, and Park Min-seok (played by Kim Min-ho), who has been twisted ahead of the promotion of the corporal, will create a strong laugh and a pleasant sympathy.
Actor Kim Dong-joon, who plays the role of superstar and national spoon 'Worldwide', said "I've been discharged for about two years, and I've seen the season 1 of 'Newbyeong' in the military. I had a lot of fun at the time, and when I am discharged from the military, I wanted to participate in a work about the military," he said, revealing the fate of his appearance.
Later, while filming KBS's epic drama `Koryeo Koran War', he accidentally talked with Kim Min-ho, the main character of 'Shinbyung', and six months later, he was offered an appearance on 'Shinbyung3'. Kim Dong-jun said "I haven't experienced that much, but it was so amazing. I thought, "This is fate."," he said with a smile.
Kim Dong-joon, who has been discharged from the military, especially made special efforts to complete the character 'World' in the play. "I thought I should go back to my mind and act with my initial intention when I was a private, not my last sergeant."We had a lot of fun on the set." he said.
In addition, Kim Dong-joon, who was able to pull off a somewhat unconventional top-down scene this season, said "When I saw the script, I felt there were more scenes where I took it off than I thought. 'I thought, 'You're taking it off here, too?' he said with a smile. Then, I lost 7kg to film "Goryeo-Koran War", and that's when I received the script "New Disease 3". After that, I prepared a lot because I had to rebuild my body to fit the character", the behind-the-scenes story was told. He then added thank you to the production team, saying, "The director took good pictures, and everyone supported the 'Worldwide' character with their bodies."
Meanwhile, 'New Disease 3' will premiere at 10 p.m. on Genie TV and ENA.
