Kim Hye-ja said at the JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Beautiful Than Heaven" online production presentation held on the 18th that "This work is a drama with a story that everyone can sympathize with."
'Beautiful Than Heaven' (written by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Soo-jin, director Kim Seok-yoon) is a transcendent romance that takes place when Lee Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja), who arrived in heaven in her 80s, reunites with her husband Ko Nak-joon (Son Seok-gu), who has become younger in his 30s.
Kim Hye-ja plays Lee Hae-sook, the 80-year-old wife who was reunited with her husband, who became younger in heaven. Regarding his role, he explained, `My affection for my husband was terrible, but (my husband) suddenly got into an accident and was thrown alone into a rough world without any preparation.' Then "How hard must it have been. But later, I meet my husband in heaven. Hae-sook went to her 80s, the age that her husband said was the prettiest, but only her husband is young. How much to talk about from Hae-sook's point of view (laughs). I think "Beautiful Than Heaven" will be a story that all viewers can relate to," he said.
When asked how she felt about reuniting with director Kim Seok-yoon, Kim Hye-ja said, "Director Kim Seok-yoon directed it, and after reading the synopsis, I thought it would be fun, so I decided to do it. That's how much I like the director. There is a lot of talk about lovers in the director's work, and it seemed that there would be a story of Hae-suk and Nak-jun's unbroken relationship in reality," he replied.
Meanwhile, 'Beautiful Than Heaven' will premiere on JTBC at 10:40 p.m. on the 19th.
