"Park Myung-soo is three years older than his father. I was uncomfortable at first, but I filmed it comfortably," Lee Moo-jin said at a production presentation for MBC's Everybody 's Great Guide 2 held at Stanford Hotel in Mapo, Seoul on the 8th.
'Great Guide 2' is a travel reality program in which a Korean foreigner living in Korea for N years becomes a guide and informs travelers visiting their home country of spots that only locals know. It was aired as a pilot for eight weeks from October 2023 and regular for 15 weeks from March 2024, and will meet viewers again with Season 2.
In particular, in this 'Great Guide 2', it is expected that you will be able to enjoy the fun of reality without being accompanied by a guide. With the existing member Park Myung-soo also making a appearance this season, he will leave with other travel mates every time. On the first trip, Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel went to Rwanda, a jewel-like country, and on the second trip, Park Myung-soo, Choi Daniel and Lee Moo-jin went to Argentina with colorful charm.
Director Kim highly appreciated Park Myung-soo's tension, which was different from the previous season. Director Kim said "All the cast members came today, but Park Myung-soo couldn't come. It's been 30 years since I've known Park Myung-soo, and he started laughing again. In season 2, Park Myung-soo came back completely. The chemistry with the other performers is good, and it is nice to see the older Myung-soo find a smile again. I was going to compliment you a lot when you came, but I'm afraid you couldn't come because you had other schedules. Please look forward to it."
As for the reason for choosing Rwanda and Argentina as destinations, producer Wu Tak-woo "There was a pleasure coming out of an unfamiliar country. Myung-soo was a little annoyed, but Myung-soo calls himself 'Urban'. How the people who shouted "Urban" adapt to this kind of travel destination will also be a point to watch" he said.
Lee Moo-jin also mentioned Park Myung-soo. First of all, I spend a lot of time collaborating with other musicians because I chose the program. So it was nice to be with my great brothers at a time when ventilation was needed."
Then "There was a lot of expectation for the unknown world that was going for the first time. Even if the viewers look forward to it enough, I think they will satisfy it as much."
Then "Park Myung-soo is three years older than my father. At first, it was uncomfortable no matter how much it was a variety show, but the first mission was to break it. But everyone made me comfortable, so I went to film comfortably" and reiterated that "a comfortable journey"."
Oh My Girl's Hyojung, who was a travel mate in season 1, plans to show a pop reaction in the studio this season. Hyo-jung was together as a travel mate in season 1, but she became vicariously satisfied in season 2. I watched it as if I was traveling from the corner of my room. If I go on a trip next time, 'This place won't be bad, too?I thought ' I think you'll be curious watching this."
He then pointed out Park Myung-soo's performance. Hyo-jung said "I didn't know Myung-soo had this much greed for cameras, but he gets angry when he doesn't have a personal one-cam." I found that he seemed to be serious about season 2," he said with a smile.
MBC Everyone The Great Guide 2 will premiere on Tuesday, April 8 at 8:30 p.m.
