The fourth episode of 'Guigung', which aired on the 26th, captivated viewers by portraying the process of Kang Cheol-i (Yook Sung-jae) and Yeori (Kim Ji-yeon) forming a stronger alliance after a bloody battle with the octogenarians. In the aftermath, episode 4 of 'Going Palace' recorded 9.2% nationwide, 8.8% in the metropolitan area, and 10.5% of the highest ratings (based on Nielsen Korea), continuing to rank No. 1 in the same time slot for two consecutive weeks.
On this day's broadcast, the confrontation between Kang Cheol-i and King Lee Jung (Kim Ji-hoon), possessed by his arms and ears, was depicted. Kang Cheol-i and Yeori managed to defeat the eight ears, but they were shocked by their power. At the sight of Yeori carefully treating the injured Kang Cheol-i, Kang Cheol-i felt human emotions for the first time and expressed a strange excitement.
Yeori declared that he would accept Kang Cheol-yi as a body leader and decided to accompany him in earnest to save Yoon Gap (Yook Sung-jae). In response, Kang Cheol-i promised to become a body priest on the condition that he would offer Jangmyeongru as a tribute to Yeori.
On the other hand, Pungsan (Kim Sang-ho)'s plot to revive Palchuk-gui once again darkened the palace. The shocking scene of Youngin Daegun (Kim Sun-bin) being attacked by eight ears marked the end of the play, raising tension to its peak.
Along with the subtle emotional lines of Yeo-ri and Kang-eui, 'Guigung' is predicted to face off in earnest with the Palchuk-gui, raising expectations for future development.
