First, at 1:10 p.m. on the 20th, a Cinet Talk will be held with director Bong Joon-ho and writer Kim Se-yoon after the screening of 『Mickey 17" hosted by the Korean Deaf Association. The screening will be shown in a regular Korean subtitles version, and sign language interpretation will be provided at the site.
The Korean Deaf Association is very meaningful to hold a Cinet Talk event with director Bong Joon-ho in honor of the 45th National Day of Persons with Disabilities. I hope that it will be a meaningful place for all the disabled, including the deaf, to enjoy and communicate together," he said.
Then, at 1 p.m. on the 22nd, the barrier-free version of 'Siblings' Summer Night' will be screened through CineCube's regular program, the CineCube Barrier Free Movie Screening for All'. The barrier-free version of 'Sister and Sister's Summer Night' was directed by Yoon Dan-bi, who directed the film, and Park Jung-min participated in the voiceover narration.
After the screening on this day, a Cine Talk will be held with Park Jung-min of 'Harbin'Secret Agent' and reporter Kim So-mi of Cine 21. Sign language interpretation and text interpretation are also provided, allowing a wider audience to participate.
Since July last year, CineCube has held a monthly CineCube Barrier Free Movie Screening for All', providing an opportunity for the disabled and non-disabled to enjoy culture without barriers. Following the upcoming 22nd 'Sister's Summer Night', 'Expensive Family' on May 13 and 'Firefighter' on June 17 will be screened at 3 p.m., respectively.
An official from CineCube said, "This screening is designed to allow various audiences to share the emotion of the movie together on the occasion of Disabled People's Day. We will continue to operate a barrier-free program so that anyone can enjoy good movies without barriers in the future."
