It's different from 'Life of the Soul'! The survival story of Yulje Hospital's residency by 'Unseuljeon' starring Ko Yoon-jung



tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama, which is drawing attention as the first spin-off of 'Wise Doctor Life', will come to the small screen with a new story in familiarity. This work, planned by creators Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung and produced by 'EgisComing', has a completely different growth drama from the point of view of freshmen who have just set foot in society, not professors 'Wise'. Before the main broadcast, we first looked at the key points that will stimulate viewers' curiosity.

Story 1. The real growth period of non-professional residents

'Unseuljeon' depicts the struggles of the majors who will become wise someday rather than the professors who are already wise. Oi-young (Ko Yoon-jung), Pyo Nam-kyung (Cynthia), Um Jae-il (Kang Yoo-seok), and Kim Sa-bi (Han Ye-ji), who start as first-year residents at the obstetrics and gynecology department at Yulje Hospital in Jongno, jump into the battlefield of the hospital with immature skills and social skills. In each unpredictable day, endless mistakes, and unexpected human relationships, they run into a wall of society for the first time and get back on their feet.




Their journey is not just a pathogen, but it contains the anxiety and growth of the first stage of society that everyone experiences. If 'Wise Doctor Life' showed joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure in a calm daily life, 'Unseuljeon' will provide a different empathy through the growth of beginners who are much rougher and more dynamic than that.

Story 2. Another branch of Yulje Hospital, a story that smells like a person to be unfolded in 'Jongro Branch'

This work takes place at the 'Jongro Yulje Hospital', not at the main office of Yulje Hospital, which was the background of the existing series. Even within the familiar name, completely different characters and stories appear, expanding the new Yulje Universe. In particular, stories of various patients, guardians, and nurses will unfold, centering on obstetrics and gynecology, forming a wider and deeper consensus.




The moments of life, death, joy, and tears in the hospital space approach more raw emotions, stimulating another emotion from the previous series. At the same time, the subtle connection with the characters in Wise Doctor Life is also revealed one by one, raising fans' expectations.

The production team said it will maintain the warm color of the existing series, but will convey new emotions through the stories of younger years' left-handed growth, adding that it will provide a different level of consensus from the original work.

'Someday, the life of a major who will become a sloth will be unveiled for the first time on tvN at 9:10 p.m. on the 12th.
