MBC's representative entertainment program 'I Live Alone' (directed by Heo Hang Kang Ji Hee, Park Su Bin, Kim Jin Kyung, Lee Kyung-eun) was honored with the TV entertainment award at the 37th Korea PD Awards.

The Korea PD Awards are awarded to PDs and broadcasters who have contributed to the free press and social and cultural development through broadcasting, and are prestigious awards ceremonies in which incumbent PDs directly judge and select award-winning works.

The winner of the Best Picture in the TV Entertainment category at the Korea PD Awards is the episode 'I Live Alone - Gian84 Race Day in New York' that aired in November last year.




The episode features Gian 84, who completed the full course at the Daecheong Lake Marathon, challenging the New York Marathon, the largest of the world's six major marathons. Gian84's passing through the completion point after a fight with himself gave viewers a great impression and thrill. The vivid image of Gian84 participating in the competition was caught running around and around, recording viewership and buzz, which received great response from viewers.

The episode was also honored in the 297th 'PD of the Month' TV entertainment category selected by the PD Federation in December last year. Through this, he entered the main examination of the Korean PD Awards and won the Korean PD Awards. At the time, the judging committee praised Gian84 for presenting the value and true impression of the challenge to viewers by showing a tenacity that never gives up to keep its promise with him.

MBC 'I Live Alone' is loved by many for its single life trend leader program, which shows the colorful rainbow lives of single-person household stars, and its value was recognized once again through this award.




MBC 'I Live Alone', which will be broadcast on the 11th (Friday), is expected to be announced as Red Velvet Joy's 'Joey's Joyful House full of home care' and Jeon Hyun-moo's 'Finding the Lost Voice of Moo' struggle with strong laryngitis'.
